About Eco Kin Subscription Box
EcoKin is a play on words for environmentally friendly and family. Together EcoKin creates a family bond with the environment while adding hands-on activities for children. An organic shape typeface resembling tree bark gives a sense of nature and a relation to family roots in the logo.
The deliverables for the subscription box include the packaging, info card, three activity packages, and welcome box art.
About Eco Kin Package
I chose a pattern of illustrations to add a touch of repetition to a complex design that holds a child’s attention. What child doesn’t find doodles fun and just silly? The doodles are in the style of rough sketches. This promotes a loose, relaxed atmosphere where children feel less pressured while learning. Parents can rest assured that their child is experiencing fun while learning fun facts listed on the back of every box.
The user-friendly design, including clear instructions and easy-to-follow guides, ensures that kids and parents can engage with the activities and experiments in the box. In addition, the emphasis on durability and sustainability in the box design aligns with the project’s goal of encouraging kids to engage with the natural world while fostering a love of science and helping to minimize waste and environmental impact.
